Komprex® Roll

Foam Rubber Bandages that retain their elasticity. They are used for compression in oedema treatment in phlebology and lymphology and as a functional bandage in sports medicine. The products are sold in a range of sizes in ready-for-use formats. The fine-pored material has a velvety surface and can be cut to size.

Both pads and bandages or cut-to-size shapes are suitable as partial padding for bandages and splints and for increasing pressure under lymphology bandages. Komprex bandages are indicated in severe oedema and thrombophlebitis, as well as after extensive sclerotherapy. They are wrapped loosely in a spiral pattern without overlapping. Increased compression is achieved by wrapping the elastic bandage around the padding layer. To prevent pressure spots, the edges should be cut at an angle when cutting the pad into custom shapes (e.g. U- and L-shaped pieces). These products are made of hypo-allergenic synthetic rubber (styrene butadiene) and are permeable to both air and water vapour.

Product Composition: 100% synthetic rubber (styrene-butadiene)
